From 1980 until today
From a simple guesthouse to a top wellness hotel on Lake Achensee in Tyrol: in 2017, we took another leap forward. With the construction of the Lodge Residence with 25 exclusive suites, 2 new outdoor pools and the expansion of the garden landscape, we are entering a new era.
Nature & wellness, pleasure & active holidays merge into an overall concept for the highest demands.
1980
A vision is realised on a beautiful piece of land: the Reiterhof with nine guest rooms and its own farm. Even back then, guests were treated to the best produce from the farm.
1988
The first tough years are over. The Reiterhof becomes an insider tip with its natural, unspoilt estate. An extension with holiday flats follows.
1991
The farm becomes the "Pension Reiterhof" and achieves three stars. The guesthouse is extended by another nine rooms. The loyal regular guests are delighted with the new wellness area with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool.
1995
The "resort" grows unstoppably. The spacious hotel driveway and the garden landscape are created. A natural swimming pond with a perfect panoramic view completes the magnificent complex.
2003
The guesthouse becomes the Landhotel Reiterhof. The hotel shines in new splendour: 27 bright and spacious rooms, a new reception, restaurant and hotel bar. Wellness lovers can look forward to an indoor pool and a beauty spa.
2015
Nature and wellness are moving ever closer together. The sauna garden with the new pools and the panoramic mountain sauna are the perfect combination. A new underground car park is also being built.
2017
The resort continues to grow: with the construction of the Lodge Residence with 25 exclusive suites, an underground car park and 2 new outdoor pools, the nature and activity resort is becoming a hotspot of modern lifestyle.
2020
With the expansion of the garden landscape and the bar area, as well as the new fitness room on 350m, we are entering a new era. Nature, wellness & active holidays merge into a harmonious overall concept.
